We brought our 7-week-old barn-born kitten in for her first wellness check and vaccinations, and had a truly wonderful experience at Dunbar Animal Hospital. Dr. Chahal was gentle, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. He took great care with our new little kitten and made us all feel completely at ease. The team was warm, professional, and welcoming from the initial phone call, the moment we arrived, the visit itself, and then booking the next set of vaccinations. The clinic is beautiful and calming, which made the visit even more reassuring. The cost was also less compared to other animal hospitals that we had called around to. We were so impressed that we’ve decided to switch our older cat over to this clinic as well. Also received a complimentary cat grooming brush and catnip. We’re so grateful for the thoughtful care and attention, highly recommend!

We brought our new rescue dog to them. They were so gentle with her. It was a great experience. All staff were so nice and helpful. Even answered a number of follow-up phone questions we had right away. I would highly recommend. Couldn’t be happier with our experience.

This vet clinic is by far one of the best in Vancouver. Dr. Chouhal is friendly, honest and knowledgeable and his staff are very professional and kind. Service is top notch. I have now moved my other dog to Dunbar clinic as the pricing here is actually much more affordable than my last clinic. Best vet clinic in Vancouver!!!!

We’ve been having a hard time finding a clinic that we trusted with our dog (Sarang) until we found Dunbar Animal Hospital. Dr. Chahal was very knowledgeable and walked us through our Sarang’s procedure very well. All the staff including Nicole and Anna were incredibly friendly and gentle with our dog. Everyone in this clinic was patient and showed that they genuinely cared and could be trusted!! I’m very grateful to have found this clinic that I trust!

Dr. Chahal and his team provide excellent care. My dog Stitch has been a patient for almost a year now and I know more about his health than any other veterinarian has ever explained in the past. Dunbar Animal Hospital is a clean and modern facility with up to date technology and excellent practices. The front staff are friendly and caring and I highly recommend Dunbar Animal Hospital to any pet parents out there.

I recently brought my pets to their clinic and I am so happy with our experience with them! My dog is very nervous and they are incredibly accommodating to make sure my dog is a calm as possible. Everyone at the clinic is very kind. Their prices are MUCH lower than my previous vet and they have long hours so it's very convenient. If you are looking for a new vet I'd absolutely recommend them!

Dunbar Animal Hospital is truly the best! I recently made the switch from Yaletown Animal Hospital after 15 years, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The customer service here is outstanding—especially thanks to Jaasneet, the manager, who is incredibly kind and helpful. Dr. Chahal is fantastic—very compassionate, takes the time to explain everything clearly, and provides excellent care at a very reasonable price. You can really feel that they care about both pets and their owners. Highly recommend! My baby of 15 years is in great hands♥️

I have lived with animals my whole life, only 2 vets I actually had a bond with, unfortunatley the last one decided to expand? and no trust from my family at all, looking for a new vet, I found this fantastic, non money gubbing, cash people just wanting to help the animals. friendliest most caring in our time of needs, thank you! and definitely they are not the cash cow people, they actually care, take care of your pets !!!!!

Dunbar Animal Hospital is open Monday to Saturday from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Sunday 9:00 Am to 8:00 Pm. We are closed on STAT holidays.
